Pub Bongsor College

Welcome and Warm Greetings from Pub Bongsor College.
Our college is situated at Pacharia village in the Sualkuchi Block of Kamrup District of Assam. It is just 11 KM towards west from District Head quarter Amingaon. Established in the year 1994, the college has been imparting undergraduate level of education in Arts streams comprising seven (7) Academic Departments. The Academic Departments are affiliated to Gauhati University (GU). In addition to the academic departments, the college offers add on / skill enhancement courses to train the local community for self-employment. At present the college has more than 700 (Seven hundred) students enrolled in Four Year Undergraduate Courses of GU. We educate the rural students most of whom are from economically backward families.
We express our deep gratitude to the Government of Assam for extending financial support for the construction of the New Academic and Administrative Building with all modern amenities. The construction of the building is nearing completion, and we hope of shifting the academic and administrative activities to the new building within this academic year (2025 – 2026).
The faculties of the college are well qualified, dynamic and dedicated to needs of the students. They are easily accessible to the students and guardians during and beyond college hours. The library building of the college is under construction and will be shifted before the next academic year starts. The librarian of the college also maintains cordial relationship with the students. The office staff of the college are also at hand at the needs of the students.
I hope the students enjoy the friendly academic atmosphere of the college. Also I urge the students of the college to be regular in the academic disbursement process including extracurricular activities.
The world around us is advancing very fast towards technology enabled activities. The faculties, office staff and the students must adopt the advanced technology to keep pace with the changing world. Come one and come all stake holders for a brighter Pub Bongsor College tomorrow.
