Pub Bongsor College, Pacharia was established in 1994 by the conscious and enthusiastic local social workers of seventeen village under Pub Bongsor Mouza in the district of Kamrup, Assam. The college is situated on the north bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, and is about fifteen kms away from Gauhati University, and also the nearest Gauhati University affiliated college from the district head quarter i.e.Amingaon. Initially, the classes of the college were started at Dadara H.S. School, and the total administration was shifted to its permanent place in the year 1996.The college is provincialized under the provision 4(1) of the Assam educational (Provincialisation of service of Teachers and re-organisation of Educational Institutions)Act,2017 &Amended Act,2018.Having a good means of transport and communication, the institution of higher education is just six hundred meters away from Singimari chouk of State Highway no-02, three hundred meters away from Guwahati-Singimari-Hajo PWD road and conveniently connected by Pacharia-Singimari PWD Road. The scenic beauty in the midst of agricultural landscape which is free from noise pollution promotes the College for better teaching-learning environment. Being just at the outskirt of the Guwahati, the college is in the neighbourhood of the Manchester of Assam, Sualkuchi and Panchatirtho Hajo. The College provides the courses in humanities and social sciences.
